Develop Mastery

  • Mastery of Learning - Students willengage with our challenging and ambitious curriculum that develops the ‘whole child’. We will provide high quality academic and personal learning opportunities, both in and beyond the classroom, to enable them to ‘Shape their Success’.
  • Mastery of Self - students will learn to ‘Be Their Best Self’. They will learn to be confident, resilient and respectful to ensure they can be successful in their lives. They will learn the importance of being well presented, well mannered and well intentioned in all that they do.

Holcombe awarded Advanced Thinking School status - Late in term 1 2022, the Holcombe community was awarded Advanced Thinking School status by Exeter University. This is testament to the hard work of staff and students alike, and reflective of the commitment made by all parties to embrace a Thinking School culture.
