On Friday 12th July, Year 10 and Year 12 Media Studies students enjoyed an exciting visit to Sky Studios, where they took part in an industry-inspired challenge to create a film trailer in a genre of their choice. Working in production teams, students developed their ideas from concept to screen, applying key media production skills throughout the process. The Sky team placed a strong emphasis on collaboration, creativity and communication, helping students work effectively together to plan, produce and present successful trailer productions ranging from horror, mystery and drama. The experience provided a valuable insight into the media industry while allowing students to showcase their imagination, teamwork and storytelling skills.
