If you are unable to attend the Sixth Form Taster Day on Tuesday 23rd June due to transport issues, please feel free to attend on Wednesday 24th June at 8:30am. There is no need to contact prior if you decide to do this.

Notice: Sixth Form Taster Day
23rd and 24th June

Due to the amber weather warning for extreme heat, we’ve made a few important changes to our Sixth Form Taster Days this week.

Dress code: Students can wear plain T-shirts, shorts and trainers (no open-toed footwear for safety).

Finish time: Students will now finish at 1:20pm on both days.

Activities: Outdoor activities have been removed, but indoor sessions will still go ahead.

Thank you for your understanding as we prioritise everyone’s health, safety, and wellbeing.

To all parents / carers,

As term ends today I wanted to pause and wish you and your families every happiness for the Christmas season and all good wishes for 2022.

This edition is again full of some of the exciting things that have been happening here at Holcombe Grammar in the past few weeks. I hope you will enjoy reading about our charity work, trips and competitions that we have been running this term. There is much more to school than just subjects and grades and it is great that we have been able to get the students involved in such activities again this year.

Congratulations this week go to Aaron Jenkins who has designed this years school Christmas Card, to Oliver Bass for representing us so admirably at a formal naval funeral and to Cameron Arnold for her roller dance success.
