At the end of last term, students were challenged to create an altar for a famous deceased person for El Día de los Muertos in the Day of the Dead Competition. Students were very creative and used a variety of materials to create their altars. We were so proud to see so many entries, all of them well-researched, colourful and unique. All participants were treated to a small celebration and the altars have all been placed on display around the classroom.
Jaden Edusei (Year 10) won first place and Chimdi Mgbemena (Year 8) won second place. Third place went to Joshua Sanni (Year 7).
