On Tuesday 3rd February 2026, Sixth Form enjoyed an unforgettable trip to see the award-winning musical Hamilton at the Victoria Palace Theatre in London. From the opening number to the final bow, the performance was packed with energy, emotion and breathtaking talent, Eliza Hamilton's voice was amazing. The show tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, one of America’s Founding Fathers, through a unique mix of hip-hop, rap and traditional musical theatre, making history feel fresh and exciting.
Students were captivated by the powerful songs, impressive choreography and creative staging. Both seasoned theatre-goers and first-time audience members agreed that the production was outstanding. Many commented on how the music and storytelling made the historical themes come alive and incredibly engaging.
The trip was not only entertaining but also inspiring, leaving students talking about their favourite songs and characters long after the curtain fell. Overall, it was a hugely enjoyable experience and a highlight of the term for Sixth Form students who had maintained high attendance and behaviour ratios as per the sixth form access to reward trips policy.
