Holcombe Grammar are proud to announce that our very own Markus Sadler was crowned Medway Young Musician of the Year 2021.
Markus is an outstanding musician who played 2 incredible piano pieces during the competition. Here is a comment from one very proud Music teacher:
“I have known Markus since he was in Year 9 and have seen him grow into a talented and accomplished musician on both the Piano and Trumpet. I am really proud that he was able to take part in the Rotary Medway Young Musicians’ Awards against several capable musicians and would like to congratulate him on a well-deserved win. I am really excited to see where his talents take him and can’t wait to see more of his concerts in the future“. – Mr Zwanzig.
As well as being crowned the winner, we are also delighted to share the news that Markus has been offered a place in the Trumpet section of the National Youth Orchestra in 2022.
