A Level Results Day 2025

Our student's hard work and dedication to learning is reflected in excellent results

Students have achieved outstanding outcomes this year, which reflects two years of great commitment to their studies. All students are now preparing to head on to the university, apprenticeship, or employment opportunities of their choice.

The overall results show significant improvements from 2024. Students have achieved above and beyond, with the number of A* and A grades increasing by nearly 6% from 2024 and overall A Level progress is at its highest level since 2018, which the school say is a testament to all the hard work put in by students and staff.

Holcombe saw particular success in subjects including Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Music Technology, PE, Physics and Sociology, and more than 40% of students achieved an A* in Art, Mathematics and Sociology.

While all students are to be congratulated for their efforts, several individual performances stood out, including:

  • Mac L achieved A* in Mathematics, A* in Physics and A in Computer Science.
  • Gurshan S achieved A* in Biology, A* in Psychology and A in Chemistry.
  • Diana C achieved A* in Mathematics, A in Biology and A in Chemistry.
  • Xaviella E achieved A*in Business, A in Law and A in Psychology.
  • Adam F Evans achieved A* in Law, A in Mathematics and A in Psychology.
  • Callum B achieved A in Mathematics, A in Chemistry and A in Physics.
  • Finn G achieved A in Mathematics, A in Chemistry and A in Physics.
  • Gabriela D achieved A in Mathematics, A in Economics and A in Geography.
  • Nabeelah O achieved A in Business, A in Psychology and A in Sociology.
  • Sophie G achieved A in Mathematics, A in Chemistry and A in Psychology.
