On 27th November 2020, Holcombe participated alongside Medway schools in the Rotary Club’s annual Youth Speaks Event. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. This event was held virtually for the first time. Holcombe supported four participants:

Barayturk (speaking on his experiences of Turkish heritage) and Sahib (speaking on the topic of discrimination) in the under 14 group, with Timi (speaking on the topic of body image) and Ryan (speaking on the topic of greed) in the over 14 group.

We are very proud to announce that Barayturk had won the contest, with Sahib placed as the runner up in their category. In the over 14 category, Timi has also placed as the runner up. The boys have won certificates of achievement and over £150 in prizes collectively.
