The little book of dyslexia

  The little book of dyslexia

Both sides of the classroom – Joe Beech

To celebrate Dyslexia Awareness Week 1st to 7th October, Dyslexia House Association is proud to present an evening with the author, Joe Beech

Joe will be giving his unique understanding of dyslexia from both sides at

Sir Joseph Williamson’s Mathematical School

Rochester, Kent, ME1 3EL

Tuesday 2nd October, 2018

Doors open 7.30pm

Joe was diagnosed at 8 years old with both dyslexia and dyspraxia.  He survived school, went onto sixth form and then university to study to be teacher.  He became an author.  He then taught science at Dartford Grammar School, got married and went travelling in Australia with his wife.  He returned to the U.K. and is awaiting his visa to move permanently to Australia. ‘Not bad’ for a dyslexic and proof that everyone can achieve, and that a diagnosis of dyslexia is not the end of the world.
